Laser Cutting:
Laser cutting works by using a focused, high-powered laser beam in concert with a jet of gas, to vaporize and blow away the material being cut. Unlike water jet or traditional cutting methods, laser cutting is fast, clean, and results in a high-quality finished edge. Complex, repetitive cuts and prototype parts are produced easily and accurately.
Laser Engraving:
Laser engraving, etching and marking has opened new avenues for artwork and photographs to be permanently applied to a variety of materials. Marking refers to achieving a color on metal through an application of a water-based chemical in combination with a laser. Etching does not achieve significant depth, but rather removes the surface of the material. Engraving removes more material, resulting in significant depth. The resolution ( 600dpi minimum) and contrast of the image used will determine the quality of the finished artwork.
Round Tubing:
Our rotary system is for processing pipes, rods, and other cylindrical items up to 6” in diameter and 32” long. Driven by a high resolution servo motor, our system produces smooth and accurate cutting and engraving. The benefits of laser tube cutting includes: no tooling expenses, minimal burrs on cuts, no cutting fluid residue, accurate tolerances ( .001” ), efficiency, varied production runs, and material conservation.
